The Diocese of Reno once a year takes up a special second collection for the benefit of the Diocesan Clergy. The Priest's Relief Collection gives us an opportunity to express our thanks to all the priests of the Diocese of Reno who have touched the lives of so many in Northern Nevada. All proceeds donated for this collection stay here in the Diocese of Reno and are set aside to assist in special help, care and retirement needs of our Diocesan priests. As we live longer, our health care needs also increase. I now you share with me a care for the health and well being of all our diocesan priests. Please give generously to this special second collection. Your gift enables us to say "Thank you!" to our priests for their dedication and service. WE DID IT! We met the CSA Goal of $25,216 and exceeded it by $607 thus far. This is with 94 pledges. Keep them coming. Our final numbers for CSA-2009 are in: the goal was $24,711, we pledged $32,706, and paid $31,358. That means our rebate was $6,647. Thanks so much! Our Capital Campaign is at $329,505 with 159 pledges. We have received $68,469 in payments. Diocesan News
