Dear Parents,
As you may already know the schools will be operating on a different time schedule this year. The Elementary schools will be starting at 9:00 a.m. and getting out at 3:45 p.m. This causes a unique problem for our Faith Formation Program. If we were to continue to meet on Monday evenings the classes would not begin until 4:30 p.m. and over at 6:00 p.m. After discussing the situation with Fr. Bob we feel that the classes would be too late for the children and families. Therefore, we will make changes to our program for the year.
All students in First and Second grades who will be in our 2 year First Communion preparation program will meet on Sunday mornings 3 times a month at 9:30 a.m. for Mass followed by class until noon. We ask that the family attend Mass together prior to the class which will meet in the Hall at 10:30.
All students in Third grade or higher who have not received the Sacraments of Baptism, Communion, or Reconciliation will also meet on 3 Sundays a month. These students will meet for class in the Hall at 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 when they will move to the Church for Liturgy training and music rehearsal. They will be expected to attend the 11:00 Mass which parents are encouraged to attend with their children.
Children in Kindergarten, Third, through Eighth grade will be taught by you, the parent. All parents will be provided with the necessary materials. On Sunday, September 26th all parents are requested to attend a meeting at 1:00 p.m. in order to receive special training on how to use the materials and to receive the materials for the first two months. We will have games and activities for the children during this time as well followed by an Ice Cream Social. All parents including those of children preparing for Sacraments are requested to attend this family afternoon. We will offer several other Family afternoons throughout the year to assist the parents in their role as Catechists.
The Registration fee for each child will be $15.00 or maximum of $45 for family with four or more children. This fee covers the price of the books and material that will be used this year. Special arrangements are possible for payment. Please call Sherry Hall at 575-4011 for more information.

Como ustedes saben las clases escolares estaran operando a diferente tiempo este año.La Escuela Elementaria empesara a las 9:00 a.m y terminara a las 3:45p.m.Esto causa problemas para el programa de formación de Fe. Si queremos continuar con las clases los lunes las clases empesarian a las 4:30 p.m y terminarian a las 6:00 p.m
Despues de discutir la situación con el padre Bob estuvimos de acuerdo que serian muy tarde para los niños y sus familias.
Es por esto que se hizo un cambio al programa de este año.
Todos los estudiantes en primero y segundo grado quienes estan en su segundo año de preparación para la comunión nos veremos el domingo por la mañana 3 veces al mes de 9:30 a.m seguido por la misa hasta las el medio dia. Estamos pidiendo que toda la familia asista junta amisa, antes de la misa nos veremos en el salon a las 10:30 a.m
Todos los estudiantes en tercer grado o mas arriba que no han recibido los sacramentos del Bautismo,Comunion,o Reconciliacion nos veremos 3 domingos del mes, Estos estudiantes estaran en el salon para su clase a las 9:00 a.m hasta las 10:30 a.m.Cuando estos alumnos sean movidos a la iglesia para su capacitacion de musica.Tienen que prepararse para atender la misa de 11:00 y los padres estan invitados a asistir con sus niños.
Los niños del Kinder, Terser grado hasta el ocho grado estaremos hablando con ustedes.A todos los padres se les provera del material necesario. El Domingo 26 de Septiembre todos los padres estan invitados a una reunion a la 1:00 p.m en orden como reciban la capacitacion especial de como usar los materiales y recibir los mismos por los primeros dos meses. Tendremos juegos y actividades para los niños durante este tiempo seguido por una actividad social. Todos los padres estan incluidos incluyendo los niños que estan, recibiendo preparación sacramental estan invitados a asistir a esta actividad familiar. Tambien estaremos ofreciendo estas actividades familiares durante todo el año, para asistir a los padres en el rol de la catequesis.
El costo de la registración por niño sera $15.00 con un maximo de $45.00 por familia con 4 o mas niños. Esta cuota cubre los libros y el material de todo el año. Casos especiales de pagos porfavor llamar a Sherry Hall al 575-40-11 para mas información.
