Religious Education-Clases de Doctrina

Mrs. Sherry Hall is the Director of Religious Ed.

Religious education is a very important aspect of parish life.  It is our responsibility as parents and community to pass along the faith to our children and grandchildren.  The Religious Education relies on volunteers who give of their precious time to provide for the children in our parish.

Classes for K-Jr. High, including preparation for first communion (1st - 2nd grades), are on Sundays after the 9:30am mass,
Classes for Confirmation and for sacramental preparation for older children are on Saturday, starting at 5:00 p.m.   Attendance at Mass is very important, and considered part of the class.  Students may either attend Mass at 4 pm prior to class or at 6:30pm in
Spanish immediately after class.  We ask that parents attend Mass with their children.

Registration fee will be $25 per child or $70 per family of 3 or more children.  These fees help us to educate your children by purchasing text books and supplies. Payment arrangements are possible.  Please contact Sherry Hall at 575-4011, ext.13 or by email,

Our wonderful volunteers include:  Mrs. Suzanne Revak, Mr. Brian Hanifan, Mrs. Tina Dextraze, Mr & Mrs. Jim and Sandy Buckman, Mrs. Heidi Barnes, , Ms Elizabeth, , Mrs. Wanda Isbell, Mrs. Ana Tippit, Mrs. Angie Quinn and Mrs. Heidi Figuroa.  We need volunteers to assist in the classrooms.  Please contact Sherry (see above contact information) if you might have time to help.

This year we will also be offering an adult faith formation focusing on the History prior to and including Vatican II as well as the documents of Vatican II.  These classes will be offered on the third Wednesday of the month beginning in October.  The classes will be offered at two times from 1-3 in the afternoon and 5-7 in the evening.  For more information please contact Sherry Hall @
