Building a community--Strengthening a parish
Construyendo la comunidad-Fortificando la parroquia
UPDATE---8-21-2010. The frame of the building is completed and the roof is well underway. Work on the rectory also contines, the insulation is installed, and the dry wall will be installed this week. There are new pictures on the album "Construction progress"
Fernley has experienced incredible growth in the past decade, going from a small town of 3,000 to almost 20,000 in ten years. Our parish population has increased similarly. Our current facilities are too small to adequately minister to our congregation and to the wider community. So we are building a new Parish Center.
Our new site is located on Desert Shadows Lane, south of the High School and off of alt-95. We are expanding to a 20,000 square foot facility that has plenty of space for worship, classrooms and office.
