Monthly Update – January 2007

We are not human beings on a spiritual journey.

We are spiritual beings on a human journey.

As we journey together into 2007, we are grateful for the support of friends like you.  We just couldn’t do it without you!

Operation Stocking Stuffer a Success!  Thanks to donations from St. Albert’s, St. Francis of Assisi, AT&T, and numerous individuals, we distributed nearly 500 gifts and stuffed Christmas stockings to children served by our Emergency Assistance program.

Some of the parents who expressed their gratitude said these would be the only gifts their children received this year.  Many thanks to everyone who participated.

Christmas Dinner:  Thanks to John Ascuaga’s Nugget, a glorious turkey dinner with all the trimmings was served on Thanksgiving to 722 people and on Christmas Day to 639 people.  More than 100 volunteers helped serve, and a wonderful time was had by all.
