Finance Committee Minutes
March 11, 2007
Present: Leticia Mathern, Sherry Hall, Donna Terry, Ray Espinoza, Rudy
Forster, Tim Kearney, Ruben Cervantes and Fr. Bob Chorey
Agenda:
February Finances
- in checking account ~$5800
- received an old CSA 2000 check, deposit into #3160
Expenses
- Fr. Bob mentioned that if income does not increase, need to begin to
think about cutting expenses and suggested some ideas
- bulletin, heating/cooling, mother’s day gifts
- suggested that Finance Committee present to the parish a plea for
increased sharing
- done on weekend of March 24/25
- will meet on the 19th together to formulate talks
"Cow Bus"
- low cost day care that initially requested to use our hall during very
hot/cold weather. We agreed, but of late had been here every week on
Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- concern that we need to make a contract with them, especially about rent
expense
- thinking $100/week
- Council agreed and Fr. Bob would pursue.
Narcotics Anonymous not longer uses our hall.
Fr. Bob requested to purchase "Microsoft Publisher" to facilitate the
bulletin and other needs in the office.
Machabees
- update-reminder we own machine
- need to agree on Maintenance Contract,
- should be $0.0158/copy
- how long will this contract last? What will happen eventually?
Next meeting on April 16th, 2007 at 6pm.-Ray Espinoza will lead
prayer.
