The Sacraments are visible signs of an invisible reality, the presence of God.
The celebration of the Sacraments are vital to the life of the Church. Therefore it is necessary to ensure we have the correct attitude towards the sacraments; they are not something we "get". Rather, the Sacraments are celebrations of life intended to be lived each and every day.
Through "things" like water and oil, and "Formulas" such as "I baptize you in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" the grace of baptism is conferred upon us.
This grace is a living reality each and every moment of our lives.
Governing the celebration of Sacraments are Universal and Diocesan policies and laws.
